Goblin Quest

"Goblin Quest" is a TBS with RPG elements in which goblins have to be defeated in tactical battles with the help of characters with different abilities. Between the TBS battles, the player can prepare themselves by solving puzzles in a real-time environment.

Win the battles, save the village and defeat the Goblin King! Be on the lookout for helpful items and puzzles on your journey...

Narrative

The king Siegfried wants to reclaim one of his villages on an island, which got taken over by goblins and sets out with his son to free the village. The player (Prince) commands an elite unit, consisting of a knight, an archer, and a mage, to achieve this goal. The characters have all different kinds of abilities and skills, which can be very youselfull on your journey.

Who made this game?
We are 8 Game Development Students from germany in our fourth Semester. This is our fourth university project, which we finished in a span of approx. 5 months.

What was your Vision and Inspiration?
We wanted to make it cute, short and simple, so that children can find their way into the world of TBS Games. We also wanted to have some RPG Elements like different characters with fun abilities, which can be used in a tactical way. Our mechanics and puzzles are inspired by Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle and The Legend of Zelda.

Are there going to be updates?
Between October and December we are able to polish the game a bit more, but since it is just a small student project, we don't plan on working on it after december.
